Because we are new, we are free to choose who we work with and the way we do things, from the start. And because we are small, we can oversee every aspect of making our jeans to ensure the quality we want.

Our denim fabrics are always 100% organic cotton. They contain no elastane, polymers or plastic of any kind, so you’ll be wearing a completely natural fibre next to your skin. And because we don’t use synthetic materials, our denim is significantly easier to either recycle or compost back into nature at the end of its life.

We are dedicated to producing jeans of the highest standard and have selected to work with a small specialist jeans manufacturer in Izmir, Türkiye.  We work with them hand-in-glove on every aspect of construction, spending a lot of the time at their atelier in Izmir.

Our entire production process is based in Türkiye, which removes the need for transportation of components between countries.  This includes the growing and spinning of cotton, weaving of the denim fabric, sourcing buttons and threads, and of course the manufacture of the jean itself.

OUR WASH PROCESS

We use a gentler wash process and we never distress our jeans with rips or harsh abrasions, which damage the denim and reduce its life.  This means you receive a garment in pristine condition that will last longer.

Our wash process is also significantly more ecological than traditional methods.  It deploys the Jeanologia EIM (Environmental Impact Measuring) technology and greatly reduces water consumption and chemical use.  We use no heavy metals, no formaldehyde, no permanganate, no halogen-derivatives and no pumice stones.  Our method washes at lower temperatures, recycles water usage, and has reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
